In 2020 The Team Tut Foundation was founded by president Michael Starrik, Vice President Matt Starrick, and treasurer George Mehalshick in memory of Michael Turick. Michael was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in 2018 and shortly passed away. What originally began as a memorial scholarship in Michael’s honor, there turned into a full 501c3 not for profit foundation. Offering the Hazleton and surrounding areas with support with youth programs. As well with local families in need after disaster or tragic events.
