Raeann Rose Merlino was a 5th grade student in the Wyoming Area School District who passed away on December 4, 2022, following a brief illness. Raeann Was a creative, energetic and enthusiastic young lady who was passionate about dance and cheerleading. Raeann loved animals and loved to help others. This fund supports causes that were important to Raeann and brought joy and hope to others.
Raeann Rose Merlino Memorial Scholarship
Raeann Rose Merlino was a 5th grade student in the Wyoming Area School District who passed away on December 4, 2022, following a brief illness. Raeann was a creative, energetic and enthusiastic young lady who was passionate about dance and cheerleading. Raeann loved animals and loved to help others. This one-year, nonrenewable scholarship, established by Raeann’s parents, will be awarded annually to a qualified graduating senior from Wyoming Area High School who best exemplifies Raeann’s spirit of creativity, compassion and commitment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a graduating senior from Wyoming Area High School.
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at any accredited college/university, career training center, or vocational training institution as a full-time student.
- Must be a diligent student working to the best of their ability.
- Applicants should embody Raeann’s spirit of creativity, compassion, and commitment to helping others that is evidenced by their teachers, classmates and extra-curricular activities.
