The Luzerne County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Fund is dedicated to supporting the care and operational needs of our K-9 Units, as well as expanding the unit’s capabilities.
All funds raised will be used exclusively to provide for the K-9s, covering expenses such as veterinary care, food, grooming supplies, medical kits, and other essential care. The fund will support the purchase of specialized equipment, training aids, K-9 vehicles, and other resources vital to the unit’s work. The K-9 Unit requires unique resources that go beyond the typical needs of patrol officers, including specialized equipment, vehicle maintenance, and ongoing training. Your contribution helps ensure that the K-9s are fully equipped and well-cared for, allowing them to continue serving the community.
