Leonard “Big Red” Williams Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established by the family and friends of “Big Red” Leonard Williams and is awarded annually to a qualified Hazleton Area graduating senior who best exemplifies the life-long principles, beliefs and standards as Big Red Williams. Preference is given to students studying accounting.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a graduating senior from Hazleton Area High School, Hazleton, PA;
2. Must show community or volunteer service that supports Democratic, Liberal or Progressive activities;
3. Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at any accredited 2 or 4-year college/university as a full-time student;
4. Must show demonstrated financial need.
