This Fund was established to perpetuate the memory of Deborah Samko Pearlman who passed away in July 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Deborah was a beloved wife, friend and a devoted special education teacher. This scholarship award is intended to benefit students graduating from Wyoming Valley West School District with an emphasis on those students attending and/or participating in the special education, special needs or other such programs providing any sort of educational assistance.
