This scholarship embodies the values of a “True Patriot” and will be awarded annually to a deserving Pittston Area High School graduating senior who exhibits the values of a “True Patriot.” Dave loved doing his “paperwork” and this scholarship will help support students with their higher education costs.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a graduating senior of Pittston Area High School;
- Must plan to enroll as an undergraduate in an accredited 2 or 4-year college/university or vocational/trade school as a full-time student;
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Must complete an essay (approximately 300 words) defining your meaning of being a “True Patriot” not only as you graduate, but for years to come like Dave Galli.
Financial need is NOT a factor or consideration in the selection process for this award.
