The Corey A. Ehret Scholarship Fund was created by his family and friends to honor his memory and service to his community.

Corey was a 2012 graduate of Dallas High School in spite of being diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma as he entered 9th grade.  His strength and spirit paved the way through numerous chemotherapies and both proton and photon radiation treatments.  It was remarkable that Corey was able to spark the interest in immunotherapy as that was the treatment that was responsive to this cancer. Many today are and will continue to be cured because of his bravery, strength and spirit.
