Restored Church is an urban church started in 2012 with a passion for loving, serving, and offering community to those who are at-risk and in need in Wilkes-Barre. We are located in the poorest neighborhood in our city. We are thankful for the proximity and accessibility that gives us to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. We ultimately want to be a place where people can find a community to belong to as they find both help and hope in and through our Church.
Despite all organizations’ challenges throughout the past two years, we have not slowed down or shrunk back. We have creatively and safely worked hard to do as much as we can, as fast as possible, to care for people’s needs. We are simply trying to keep pace with the high volume of needs, opportunities, and organizational growth that we are experiencing.
The City Impact Fund resources development opportunities for people who are at-risk and in need in our city by meeting tangible needs in intentional ways to address material, financial, educational, and relational poverty.
