The Yudichak Family Lighthouse Fund Donates to Luzerne County Library System

yudichak_news_photo_300pxThe Luzerne County Library System announced The Yudichak Family Lighthouse Fund of The Luzerne Foundation recently donated $5,000 to fund the 2016 county-wide summer reading program. The Yudichak Family has funded the program since 2011. The Luzerne County Library System was founded in 1984. It is made up of 10 libraries throughout Luzerne County that work cooperatively to provide citizens with recreational and educational materials and programs, such as the annual summer reading program. The summer reading program is under way and continues through mid-August. It is open to all ages (children, teens and adults). There are weekly prizes and attendees are eligible to receive a certificate for participating. Register at a local library or visit www.luzernelibraries.org for information.
