The fund will help get the children’s book “I’m Detective Spike” published. The book is already written by a local author and illustrations are being drawn. The book will be sold to Luzerne and surrounding counties residents. The book talks about K9 Spike’s duties, cyberbullying and his everyday life. The book is geared for school aged children.
The cost of the books depends on the quanity. I have attached an approximation. In the past, K9 Spike has sold over 250 plushed animals within a two week period. In addition, K9 Spike has sold over 500 pieces of clothing. All proceeds from these two raised over $10,000 for the Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center.
All proceeds with benefit the Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center and similar organizations.
