This fund is made possible through a bequest by former Kingston resident Jane Lampe Groh to insure future free presentations of the soon to be 65-year-old festival.
Jane Lampe Groh was a retired longtime administrator at Wilkes University, an active parishioner at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish and frequently volunteered in many capacities for the fiesta.
Jane was awarded the Fine Arts Fiesta Howard B. Fedrick Friend of the Arts Award posthumously upon her untimely passing in 2015.
Board President Mary Anne Fedrick, on behalf of the officers and board, is excited to have this new gifting opportunity available to the Fine Arts Fiesta’s loyal community of donors and sponsors and sees it as a gateway to the festival’s future, according to a statement released by the Fine Arts Fiesta committee.
