Celebrating Abilities of Down Syndrome (CADS) intends on fundraising for the Buddy Walk 2025 at Misericordia University and future Buddy Walks held in Luzerne County.
The Buddy Walk is held yearly to raise and celebrate Down Syndrome awareness. It also acts as a fundraiser for programs that benefit individuals with Down Syndrome. The funds earned through Celebrating Abilities of Down Syndrome and the Buddy Walk would be used to make the event successful by helping cover costs incurred in the planning process and also distributed to individuals with Down Syndrome to help cover costs of therapies, programs, and/or medical equipment.
