The McGlynn Center Scholarship Fund in memory of Sister Martha Hanlon was established to help former McGlynn Center students as they pursue post-secondary education at any accredited college/university, career training or vocation training institution as a full-time student. This is an annual scholarship award contingent upon satisfactory academic progress.
Sister Martha Hanlon, RSM was a treasure to all who knew her – as a gifted administrator, an enthusiastic teacher, a compassionate mentor and a loving friend. As the first Board Chairperson of the McGlynn Center, Sister Martha led with respect and understanding. Her influence on the organization in her nine years as Chairperson was profound. We establish this fund in her memory, so that all students of the McGlynn Center can experience the opportunity for continuing education.
