The Edward Raymond Kenzakoski III Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the family and friends of Edward Raymond Kenzakoski III to honor his memory as a beloved son and participant in Coughlin High School Athletics. Edward was particularly passionate about wrestling for its strength, training and discipline. The scholarship shall be awarded annually to that wrestler at Wilkes-Barre Area HighSchool who, as determined objectively by his/her coaches and peers, demonstrates the “Biggest Heart.” This award is not to recognize the best or strongest wrestler, but that wrestling participant who overcomes the greatest challenges to be the best that he/she can be. The award recipient need not be a starter, but the participant with the biggest heart including pride and determination.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a graduating senior from Wilkes-Barre Area High School, Wilkes-Barre, PA;
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at any accredited college or university or vocational training program as a full-time student;
- Must be on the Wolfpack wrestling team;
- Must demonstrate the ability of overcome adversity.
